“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.” ― Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching, 604BC – 531BC
It's been a difficult long winter,
more than once I wondered, "have I crossed that delicate line, from sanity to insanity?"
in these moments, holding myself firmly with gentle care,
I reached out, to the place of "no mind" where all is quiet, yet, not finding relief, ease or peace there either..
So all I could do, was to stay now in all of my daily moments as they unfolded,
just now, just now, just now.
Brush my teeth, just now.
Pack lunch, just now.
Drive to school, just now.
Wave with a smile, just now.
Cup of green tea, just now.
Tears on my cheeks, just now.
Make sandwiches, just now.
Sense of panic, just now.
Heart racing, just now.
Troubled thoughts for tomorrow, just now.
I kept moving forward, through the flow of each moments, just now and what is, just now..
Breathe,
Be
Just Now.
